Plywood Pool for Anthropology Simulation
This is a 4-foot wide pool that was made for my Anthropology class. The idea of the simulation was to “bob” for apples using a spear. The teacher had been using a plastic children’s pool that broke after repeated use. Using some marine plywood, I fashioned a 4-foot wide hexagon with side walls. The assembly is held together with angled brackets, routered joints, and Gorilla Glue. The seal is provided by “Great Stuff” expanding foam. It was just able to fit in my Ford Taurus station wagon.
